Biography

My name is Alina Amir-Qureshi, I work for a company called Symantec and have been working out of its Dublin Office for past 10 years. Little bit about myself , I am very passionate about people enablement, I strongly believe that each one of us is capable of something special, at times all we need is little bit tapping of into it. Academically I am a mathematician, physicist, software developer , an educationist, Lean sigma black belt , a scrum master , agile team facilitator, a work life coach, team facilitator and master trainer. Professionally currently I am working as a Scrum master for a globally dispersed team, I coach people on life/work, I coach people on process improvements, I train at yellow belt level and now embarking on another initiative of raising people awareness around agility.

Description

I would like to present at the agile tour Dublin under following topic • Challenges and opportunities when implementing agile I would like to present and share my journey of transitioning from a team member to an apprentice Scrum Master and now a Scrum Master of a globally dispersed team based out 3 continents. It’s full of challenges, opportunities, frustrations and a lot of laughs. It will definitely qualify as a case study and a thought-provoking presentation.
